The Heat

The Heat follows Ashburn (Sandra Bullock), a hardliner, arrogant, FBI agent and Mullins (Melissa McCarthy), a way more unconventional cop from Boston. The dynamics between these two juxtaposing officers is one of the main comedic points of the film and is of the reasons why this film is so funny. Well, I say SO funny, it's not hilarious, or the best comedy ever or anything but... It is funny. This is the second time I've seen it as well so on a certain level I must enjoy it, having said that though it's definitely not my favourite McCarthy or Bullock film, but it is good.

In a sentence: It's a good 'Friday night in' kind of film: light and funny.
