Ok so i just re-watched the trailer and from this evidence i remember it being mindlessly fine. Like i almost want to say mindless fun but i don't know if i can go that far. And thats such a shame because the central concept is one we rarely get to see (a cast centrally made up of women and women doing things marginally different from the mainstream) and yet it seems every time this is done its done really shittily. As if the producers/money cat arses do this on purpose to somehow prove that female leads aren't worth the investment? I don't know. But its a great shame because the central themes provided great promise and yet seemed to mostly disappoint.

In a sentence: Disappointing.
