This documentary is one of those films that should be mandatory to watch. The themes explored are so important I can't express to you enough how outraged it made me. Not just about the content of the film. The fact that America's justice system is undeniably racist. What bothered me more was that it was something I didn't previously know about. It was something so enormous is disgusted me that it was something that isn't common knowledge. America, and presumably the majority of so called 'developed' countries are corrupt. A corruption that most people would live their lives ignorant to.

And it's a film that should be watched regardless of whatever opinion I have (as if that would ever matter) because of the reputation that proceeds it: Ava DuVernay, the director of Selma. So, yeah, this film is of course going to be amazing.

In a sentence: It will blast open your brain.
