This is such an incredible gem of a film. The story follows a young man (Johnny) living in Yorkshire, working for his father on the farm. It follows him as he has casual sex with a number of men, never quite connecting any emotional value to any of them. Until one day his father hires someone to help around the farm, Gheorghe who is a migrant worker from Europe. This sparks a new relationship for Johnny and opens him up to something he hasn't seemed to consider before. Obviously the film I'm describing is no where near as cheesy as that description. it's pure, raw and delicately beautiful. The amount of care that is taken over every shot, look, gesture, is sublime.
In a sentence: Honestly if you haven't seen this film yet where the fuck have you been?
