Seth Rogan and James Franco. What a duo. This film was the start of a blazing career for these two actors and it's rather funny. The whole amalgamation of weed, drug dealers, wildly inappropriate - not to mention unbelievable - high school girlfriends, and Process Serving(?), along with a whole array of weird feuds, is absolutely Fabulous (a film I cannot wait to see this Summer!).
Yes, it's funny. I wouldn't say HILARIOUS, like I've laughed more times at a 2o minute episode of Modern Family, but yes, it is undeniably, kind of funny.
I probably wouldn't watch it again but I'm glad I did watch it. The whole escalation plays out hilariously as these two prove to be completely incompetent, a trait that is a sure fire laugh in comedy films. But the ending is the best part, the fact he 'serves' the guy he was supposed to do in the beginning and the scene in the diner is brilliant.
In a sentence: I reckon it would have been funnier if I was as high as they were while they were making the film.
