What a weird film.
Such a weird film...
It was so disturbing...
Basically, Ripley (Damon) pretends to be someone he's not after some complicated reasoning to bring home this rich boy (Jude Law) to his dad. Such a strange premise. Then a bunch of weird events happen and murders happen and shit goes down and, boy, is it intense.
woah.
I think I liked it, but it was just so weird. Stellar cast though. Absolutely gorgeous cast, whoever was the casting director should have been given some kind of knightship. Gwyneth Paltrow, Cate Blanchett, Matt Damon, Jude Law, Philip Seymour Hoffman, need I go on? Incredible.
The whole thing was just so bizarre.
It showcases Damon's talents though. What a performance. Along with everyone really, it was a good film.
In a sentence: I think it was good but would I watch it again? No, probably not.
