I genuinely love Kristen wiig's new era of quirky, indie comedies. Along with work like 'Skeleton Twin's' this film is remarkable, unique. It manages to highlight something so very 'taboo' in our society - mental illness - and not only make it funny, but make it relatable and in a way, beautiful. It genuinely cares about each of the characters and, in turn, gives them time to grow. And in something that is rarely seen in Hollywood it actually names her conditions and is therefore raw and fresh.
I did enjoy watching it, I did laugh, but to be completely honest I'm not sure if I'd watch it again. I mean, I probably will because I bought it on DVD but let's just say if I'd have seen it in cinemas, I'd have appreciated it, but probably wouldn't have bought the DVD.
In a sentence: Bloody love Kristen Wiig.
