Everybody Wants Some!!

I actually really enjoyed this film. Richard Linklater has, yet again, created an interesting comment on life and growing up. He has created something funny, yet also clever and unique. Albeit, at times it felt like it was reaching with some of the 'deep' comments, i was willing to ignore this for the overall feeling of the film. The film was packed with this nostalgic element which I feel, to those who grew up in the 1980, would very much enjoy (but was also something which I loved, even though I didn't grow up during that era).

The characters were convincing and although there is no real 'plot' as such the characters are engaging enough to carry the film through. And the whole partying element and scenes with the love interest were surprisingly convincing, something I'm not exactly used to from the generic Hollywood cliched bullshit.

In a sentence: Yeah, I bloody loved this film, but no, I ain't buying the DVD (which i feel is the real test).
