I'm not sure whether I liked this film or not...
Some aspects I did like, like how it progressed. The way that it began with a single man objecting to the majority objecting. I suppose I enjoyed the way it was encouraging the audience to question everything they are presented with, and not to take anything just for 'fact' or for granted.
Having said that though it was a bit slow and also a bit dull. In the way that it all takes place in one location is brave, considering the subject matter seems to be a clear cut murder case you wouldn't have initially thought of this to be a riveting film. But I suppose, in this sense you could, although bizarrely, liken this kind of idea to a film like the Breakfast Club. I know that sounds odd, the films seem to be polar opposite. But the way in which both focus heavily on the development of character and only marginally on the development of plot is an interesting way to shape a film. But i think in the case of the Breakfast Club I definitely relate more to the characters which is why a film like that, for me, is far more likeable.
In a sentence: The acting is pretty solid and I liked the core message of the film (to question everything) but overall it was a tad dull - wouldn't watch again.
