What an interesting insight. Genuinely, this is one of the most invasive, personal docs I have ever seen. I feel like I knew him personally, along with Courtney. Having said that though it wasn't as moving as other documentaries I've watched, like 'Amy' which is of a similar genre, and i wouldn't have said it's as good as that film either. But it was still riveting.
The life he had was just so insane...
The one thing I wasn't so keen on though was the cartoon sections, although i appreciated how they helped to tell the story i feel this may have been better if it had been done in a different way. And in addition to that the ending was poorly judged. I understand, and obviously knew before I watched it that Kurt died. I knew that. But there are other ways of depicting this demise. White words on a screen isn't enough. One film that deals with this kind of tragic end is 'Amy', which has a far more emotive ending.
In a sentence: Insanely interesting.
