Bloody hell joshua oppenheimer is a living legend, genius, connoisseur, idol, master, etc. etc.
What a film.
It effortlessly and naturalistically sheds light on something so distant from Western Society and yet made me feel like i was there, living in this moment. It made me relate to something completely inconceivable. The innovative use of a third part interviewer (by that i mean not the filmmaker himself), who has an extremely personal attachment to the events that took place, was fascinating and heartbreaking at the same time. It was such a unique experience.
Honestly, this film is not just a 'must see' but a must see. You NEED to see this film.
in a sentence: GO WATCH THIS FILM.
