He Named Me Malala

What a life. Seriously. She's 18 years old and has already won a Nobel Peace Prize, seriously!

This documentary follows her life and I have to say I had pretty high expectations from the trailer, that alone had bought me to tears, so I was bursting to see the film. And although the film was pretty good, and if I hadn't seen the trailer I may not have this feeling but I have to say I'm slightly underwhelmed. Although only slightly, i still have that feeling.

I loved the music, obviously the story (which is sensational), and the animation is gorgeous but I think it's maybe just not as good as it could have been.

In a sentence: Malala is an incredible woman and for that reason alone it's worth a watch, but maybe rent it- i wouldn't necessarily buy it on DVD.
