I watched this film as part of my Film Studies course at College and, for some reason, I wasn't necessarily expecting to enjoy it or find it tense in any way. And maybe that's some kind of weird prejudice I have toward old film, i dunno... But regardless, i was wrong.
This film is fucking insane.
The tension at points is almost unbearable and it made me so bloody excited for this year, where we'll do a whole project on Hitchcock.
The master of suspense.
I can finally understand that title now, and truly identify with it.
In a sentence: Bloody fantastic, where current cinema was invented.
