What a depressing film.
I thought I liked Woody Allen from Annie Hall but I think he may just be a bit too depressing/arrogant/self involved/egotistical for me. This may be because his genius is just floating above my head, and who knows? Maybe when I'm older I'll re-visit his work and discover its greatness. But as of right now his screen presence became verging on irritating in this film. I don't know why, but it just did. I might still visit films that he doesn't star in but I just find him as a character, in the films i've seen him in, is the same - which I'm not gonna lie- becomes slightly boring.
Anyway, the film. The story is interesting, character driven but would I watch it again ? no. should you watch it? Let's be real I'm pretty late to this party, you've probably already seen it.
In a sentence: It's ok, but i think it may have turned me off Woody Allen films...
Shit...
