Such a moving film.
Films which surround this subject always rouse a hatred inside of me towards the culture that is so disgustingly bred within our culture but this film was a true standout. I've never sat through a film before and considered, 'is this maybe too much for me? I don't know if I'm able to take this...' But this film achieved that deep, stirring emotion inside of me which is rare to extract.
The lead acting from Dakota Fanning is steady throughout but it wasn't till near the end where her character snaps that I precipitated the full extent of her talent as an actress. She's sensational. She achieves a level of purity and truthfulness that is hard to achieve in film nowadays. I believed i was watching someone genuinely fall apart in front of me, it was incredible.
And the rest of the cast, THE REST OF THE CAST!
They were all magnificent, groundbreaking, incredible, any other adjective you wanna throw in there.
In a sentence: I know that didn't disclose shit about the film but trust me, it's beautiful and deserves a watch.
