I can tell already that i'm going to find this challenging to write...

Ok...

So, the reviews for this film have been pretty damning, and i don't by any means agree with them, but i see how they could think that. I think the best, and by far the most vague, way to describe the feeling after i stepped out of the screening was: 'that film was... a little off?'

'A little off'...

There was just something about it that simply wasn't right. The acting was good, it ok kind of funny and the plot was fine, so a film that really should have been ok was instead, less than that...

and then i found out why, like every explanation of these kind of big budget films, the people with the money fucked it up in the editing room. Great. The Director and actors spent precious time and effort finding these characters only to have their carefully orchestrated back stories destroyed by whoever was sitting int hat editing room, everyone but the director it seems.

So it's not the film it should have been. Which pisses me off because i had looked forward to it since i saw the trailer, And it just isn't the film i thought it was going to be. It didn't blow me away like it should have done.

In a sentence: The more I write about this the angrier it makes me, i can't- i just can't....
