I definitely need to re-watch this film.
Definitely.
The premise is brilliantly hilarious and Jeff Bridges in masterful but beyond that point i'm a little lost. Amidst the weird trippy scenes and funny lines i know there was a plot and i enjoyed it thoroughly, i just think it may have been slightly complicated, and one i need to refocus my attention on more diligently. So in other words, just like any other Coen Brothers film.
Julianne Moore is, well, without being a bitch, she's a little awkward in it. I know! She's an incredible actress but... I think Jeff Bridges is just such a vast screen presence, one so believable, he just, outshines her? I don't know. She just didn't convince me she was who she way trying to be. Phillip Seymour Hoffman was as he always was, perfect. He has this unteachable act of transforming into any role, and more importantly convincing the audience into fully believing this manifestation too.
In a sentence: Definitely craving a second, more attentive, viewing.
