Troll Hunter

This film is brilliant.

The Scandinavians just really know how to make a great film. The atmosphere has that same depth, I can't really describe it, but it's present in every one I've seen. This layer, this kind of realist nature to them. And this film is no exception. The documentary style is ingenious and the story is hilarious.

I loved this film, it had this ingenious quality that made me feel like a kid again. The way that the characters are all running round looking for these trolls across these beautiful landscapes reminded me of holidays in places like Scotland where my imagination was ignited. This film has the same effect.

It's remarkable.
