American History X

This is an insanely insightful film, albeit slightly preachy at times the overall message completely astounded me. It took turns i didn't expect and the overall content of the film was something I didn't think it was going to be before watching it. The black and white gradient, for me, played on this idea that our morals are all black and white, when in fact this film displays how this isn't at all true. We're all complicated beings, and this film explores this idea.

Ok, I watched this film a long time ago so don't have a lot else to say other than the acting is brill.

In a sentence: certainly worth a watch.
