I'm ashamed to say that I watched this illegally. I know, I hate me as much as you do right now. And by you I mean future me because, let's face it, no one else will be reading this. Safe to say though I'm pretty certain the site gave my computer a virus, so, karma I guess.

But I think it was worth it for the film.

I don't know what it is about Hailee Steinfeld, maybe it was because her character in Pitch Perfect 2 was mildly irritating, or maybe it's just because i've not seen her in much else, but the fact she starred in this coming of age film made me nervous for it. I was half expecting some trumped up disney spin on adolescence. You know, where the characters use language like 'gosh'. But I was pleasantly surprised. And to be honest, kind of pissed with myself for underestimating her talent, failing to recognise the fact she doesn't even come from Disney, and was in that oscar nomd film True Grit.

Safe to say I fucking enjoyed it. It mad me laugh and smile and do all that shit you do when you watch a good film. Also woody Harrelson. That sentence doesn't even need any explanation.

In a sentence: Thoroughly enjoyed it.
